About me
With nearly two decades of percussion experience, I have been fortunate to perform and teach at the highest levels. I am a three-time Drum Corps International World Class Finalist, having performed five seasons with Spirit of Atlanta, the Colts, and the Blue Stars—where I aged out as tenor section leader.
My performance career has included appearances at world-renowned events such as the Midwest Clinic in Chicago and PASIC (Percussive Arts Society International Convention), where I participated in a showcase performance while simultaneously competing in I&E (Individual and Ensemble Competitions) events on tenor drums, earning 2nd place with an original solo composition.
Beyond performance, I have spent six years teaching private lessons and currently serve on the percussion staff at Dobyns-Bennett High School. My goal is to combine professional-level performance standards with a student-centered teaching approach, ensuring that every percussionist I work with develops the skills, discipline, and artistry needed to succeed.
